From the bar of cable damascus kindly provided by Daniel Claville-Larsen came this:

Tapered tang, distal taper, scandi zero grind.

Buffalo horn scales, black fibre and brass liners and my own mosaic pins.

Steel etched to bring out the cable pattern.
