A puukko to keep, for a change - blade by Pekka Tuominen, desert ironwood with a mammoth ivory accent, nickel silver bolster and pommel, nickel silver and black fibre liners. Some work-in-progress photos... Bolster glued into place: 
Handle sections drilled, filed to fit and glued up.  Handle solid and tang rivetted, outline marked on ready to shape the handle.:  Finished...  First feather stick...  And with it's sheath:    |
